About Us

I am based in Springston, I provide catering to Selwyn, Canterbury and Christchurch specialising in catering to a wide degree of options with a small team alongside me. Nicky’s Boutique Catering offers special event catering, corporate catering, and posh picnics. I am a qualified, award-winning chef with 20 years of experience and have worked in many venues in New Zealand and overseas. I have turned my passion, skills, creativity and knowledge into my DREAM business and I can now share my creations with you. Over the past 5 years operating Nicky’s Boutique Catering I have applied that passion to build an unsurpassed reputation in event catering and setting the scene. I use only the freshest seasonal ingredients and try as much as I can to use quality local produce, delivering seamlessly to you delicious beautifully presented food. Our food is not overly complicated but made well and with love leaving you wanting to book again. We are passionate about creating menus to represent your special event.

My name is Nicky Ward, I am a proud mother of two children Lochie 5 and Ashley 3, married to my lovely supportive husband Jamie who also has his own landscaping design business (DWG Design Works Group). We are both doing our dream jobs and believe in hard work alongside a healthy amount of fun and relaxation. I love family, friends, mountain biking, fishing, outdoors, travel, New Zealand, gardening, flowers, anything french country style, crystal & antiques, gin, wine and anything that involves fun. I can’t live without coffee…(Behind every successful woman is a substantial amount of coffee). I have built my business from the ground up and feel it represents me, my passion for food, life and living the dream! I would love the opportunity to cook for you!
